LEPAS UK Brand Launch at Town Hall

September 30, 2026

LEPAS, a new automotive marque from Chery International, introduced its brand to the UK at Town Hall by Bottaccio in London. Partnering with agency Avantgarde, Pixl Evolution delivered technical production spanning Vision Hall and Inner Space.

The launch evening blended brand presentations, a vehicle showcase and live violin performances before transitioning into an afterparty. Pixl’s scope covered video, audio, lighting, show control, communications and rigging, with specialist operators supporting both spaces.

Showcasing LEPAS in Vision Hall

Vision Hall hosted the core brand presentation and car display. Centre stage, a 7.5m × 4m LED wall delivered LEPAS content and presentation material, with vehicles positioned on the hall floor in front.

The screen was built from 120 Unilumin UPAD IV 2.6mm LED tiles. Barco E2 Gen 2 switching, NovaStar processing and dedicated E2 and graphics workstations managed content and presentation feeds.

Video provision extended to presenter support and show management. Two flown 75-inch comfort monitors and prompting assisted speakers on stage, while a showcaller multiview brought programme sources together for coordination. This connected the audience screen, presenter tools and production monitoring within the same video setup.

Audio for speech and live performance

Audio in Vision Hall supported both presentations and musicians. Pixl deployed a d&b audiotechnik system with Yamaha DM7 control at front of house, connected through Dante audio networking.

The microphone package featured Shure Axient Digital wireless systems, DPA CORE+ headsets and handheld microphones. Shure PSM1000 in-ear monitoring formed part of the monitoring provision for performers.

Violin performances featured in both Vision Hall and Inner Space. Inner Space’s distributed audio infrastructure supported the afterparty, with technical provision across both parts of the evening.

For this automotive launch, audio delivery addressed multiple needs: speech for brand presentations, support for live artists and entertainment across two rooms.

Lighting the showcase

Pixl augmented Vision Hall’s lighting provision with an additional package and Astera QuickSpot fixtures. The setup covered the vehicle showcase, stage presentations and musical performances, operated through a grandMA3 control system.

Warm tones highlighted the architecture, while focused lighting defined the cars and presentation area. The stage LED carried LEPAS content behind the vehicles, bringing the vehicle display and brand presentation together.

Lighting operation sat within the wider show-control workflow, allowing the team to coordinate lighting changes with video, audio and the programme.

Production infrastructure

The delivery combined a substantial flown rig with the control and communications required to run the show. In Vision Hall, 34 Lodestar motors with Kinesys load-cell monitoring supported the overhead installation.

Specialist operators covered E2 switching, graphics, prompting, lighting and audio. Clear-Com FreeSpeak II and HelixNet connected show departments, while Luminex 10Gb networking supported the technical systems.

These behind-the-scenes elements were central to Pixl’s delivery. Alongside the visible LED, microphones and lighting, the production incorporated presenter monitoring, crew communications, networking and rigging.

From launch moment to afterparty

The programme moved from the Vision Hall showcase and presentations into an Inner Space afterparty, with violin performances in both spaces.

Collaborating with Avantgarde and the venue team, Pixl supplied and operated the technical systems for each phase. The project brought together LED, lighting and sound with presenter tools, crew communications and the infrastructure supporting the live show.
